Can I move furniture/art/items?

Yes. You are allowed to move anything in the house to fit your creative vision. Anything you move must be put back at the end of your booking (take pictures to help you do this!)

Are there extra tables and chairs?

Yes! In addition to the main farmhouse dining table in the kitchen, there is an 8ft long folding table available to use. There is a large picnic table and extra bistro tables and chairs in the yard. There is a circular drop leaf wooden table downstairs. There are plenty of extra chairs/benches around the house and in the yard.

Are there plates/utensils/tablecloths?

Yes. There are many matching plate sets, serving platters, utensil sets, cups, mugs, and tablecloths all available for you to use. Whatever you use must be washed and put back at the end of your booking.

Does a cat live here?

There used to be a cat that lived here, his name is Tifo. My business is still named after him, but there is no longer a cat in the house. However, Flatbush is known for its community of kitties! All the strays around here are very friendly and if you see one they aren’t my cats but they might still socialize with you! <3

Is this a private space?

Yes. This is a two family townhouse, which means this townhouse is split into two units. All of the spaces (parlor, garden level, and backyard) you see images of are available for you to use. There is another floor upstairs that is not accessible, and is completely separate from the rental space.

Can I take a tour?

Yes. Please contact for a preliminary location scout. Tech scouts are charged at standard hourly rate.

Very preceptive, yes! After booking you will receive a copy of the Kitchen and Kitten Handbook which has a much more comprehensive list of questions you may have before/during your booking, house rules, and a cleaning checklist.
